Wedge
Wedge is a performance-focused synthesizer kit. It includes the synthesizer itself, an amplifier, and a case that holds everything together. The intention is to help break down the barriers that make musical collaboration more difficult by shifting the performance from one focused on harmony and melody to one more focused on timbre. The synthesizer itself is inspired by west-coast synthesis, and is a completely analog circuit.
The prototype was made using a combination of laser cut wooden panels and 3D printed chassis components.
